To further strengthen employees’ awareness of integrity and compliance while reinforcing the Company's culture of ethical business conduct, BIBO recently invited the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) to conduct an “Anti-Corruption and Integrity Training Seminar” for staff.
The training aimed to enhance employees’ understanding of Hong Kong’s anti-corruption legislation and strengthen their ability to identify and manage corruption risks in the workplace. The seminar covered common corruption and fraud risks, including challenges in handling confidential information, human resources, and administrative management.
Through real-life case studies, ICAC officers provided in-depth explanations of the relevant provisions of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance, helping employees gain a clearer understanding of their legal responsibilities and ethical obligations at work. The training also highlighted the importance of conflict-of-interest management, equipping participants with practical knowledge on how to properly declare and avoid potential conflicts of interest.
In addition, the seminar provided a range of practical anti-corruption recommendations, including compliance with legal requirements, adherence to company policies, and the use of the “Sunshine Test” as a guide for evaluating whether workplace decisions and actions meet appropriate ethical standards.
BIBO is committed to fostering an open, fair, and ethical working environment. Through this training, the Company aims to further enhance employees’ awareness of integrity and risk management capabilities, making ethical conduct an integral part of everyday operations. Looking ahead, BIBO will continue to promote compliance and professional development initiatives, working together with employees to uphold integrity and support the Company’s sustainable growth and long-term success.
